Steve Ross draws on more than half a century of experience to offer classes that are appropriately entitled Master classes. In addition to his celebrated performing career as a solos artist, as well as with a jazz trios and and symphony orchestra's he has been a vocal coach, arranger, conducto (for Liza Minnelli among others) and an actor (Off- Broadway WON'T DANCE; Broadway: PRESENT LAUGHTER)
It is his goal as teacher, by way of a careful examination of the song's lyrics and joyful expression of the melody, to ensure that the student connects to the material with his mind and his heart. He has entitled his class THE SONG IN YOU AND YOU IN THE SONG.
